Field Technician IV

Hoover Energy Services is hiring a Field Technician IV for their Artesia, NM location to support the oil and gas market in the Permian Basin. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in pump technology, PLC programming, and communication systems. Responsibilities include modifying HMI and PLC programs, device connectivity, and VFD setup. Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, and a company vehicle.
Hoover Energy Services has openings for Field Technician IV to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.

Ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
• Complete Tech I, Tech II, Tech III (Please see other job postings for details if needed)
• Simple Modify HMI Programs from A->B
• Simple Modify PLC Programs
• Full Understanding of Comms
• Full Understanding Of Modbus
• Connect Devices and bring in data
• Setting Up VFDs while understanding the settings
• Read And Modify PLC + TotalFlow Logic w/understanding the change
• Cell Modem Configuration Start To Finish
• Entry Level DSP Setup (Redlion)
• Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.
• Candidate must have a clean driving record.

Experience:

4+ years of experience as a Pump Technician/Pump Repair/Field Service
