Transformer Service, part of our US Services HUB. Reporting to the Regional Field Operation Manager, you'll leverage your hands-on experience and deep understanding of customer needs to build strong relationships and uncover new business opportunities. How You'll Make an Impact
• Perform mechanical work in electrical substations.
• Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify issues.
• Service, repair, and adjust mechanical equipment.
• Analyze information to select the best solutions for customer issues.
• Engage in physical activities requiring dexterity and agility.
• Use computer software to manage site visit data.
• Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment.
• Complete vacuum oil processing logs and support site transformer testers.

Your Background
• High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of professional work experience.
• Possession of a Class A CDL is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 85%.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand, stoop, bend, and walk for up to 12 hours per day.
• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
