Job Description

The University of Maryland is seeking a Faculty Specialist for the Center for Environmental Energy Engineering. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of experience with Windows desktop applications, particularly in C# and .NET. Familiarity with virtualization tools like Hyper-V is also required. This is a full-time position based in Maryland.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors in Engineering or related field (for example: Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) 3 Years or more of active professional development experience with Windows desktop applications with C# or VB. NET , WinForms, and . NET Framework Expertise: C#, . NET Framework 4.X, Database access from . NET , WinForms development with Visual Studio 2015/2017/2019 with TFS Familiarity with: Hyper-V/Virtual Box Virtualization for testing of applications on different environments Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills Be able to work independently, think outside the box to develop creative solutions to problems
