Form Energy is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Associate in Somerville, MA. What you'll do:
• Execute basic facilities maintenance and improvement tasks in support of technical development and office users, promptly closing out all work order requests using our online ticketing system
• Perform basic maintenance of facilities equipment; organizing and maintaining hardware and tools as well as assembling and installing facility furniture/equipment
• Maintain safe surfaces inside and outside the facility (snow removal on paths, wet floor caution, etc.); inspects facility for weather-related leaks
• Maintain a professional and courteous manner with all vendors, contractors, and colleagues
• Interface with vendors, provide escorts for in-house work, assist in security badge access
• Support Warehouse staff when on breaks, vacations, or as needed
• Manage recycling and waste removal schedule
• Expected to regularly lift 35 to 50 lbsWhat you'll bring:
• 3+ years of hands-on facilities and/or maintenance experience within a fast-paced environment
• Ability to shift gears quickly and come back to original task as needed
• Ability to follow projects to completion with minimal prompting
• Positive attitude and appetite to learn and grow within our organization
• Willingness to contribute ideas towards organizational and technical problem solving
• Strong communication and organization skills with great attention to detail
• Ability to learn cloud based organizational tools (Envoy, Brivo, Asana knowledge a plus)
• Trades skills are a plus
