The FWS Farm Worker position at Maharishi International University involves hands-on tasks in organic farming, such as planting and maintaining crops, aimed at promoting sustainability. The FWS Farm Worker contributes to MIU's commitment to sustainability by assisting in the cultivation of organic produce for the campus community. This role involves hands-on tasks such as planting, maintaining crops, and ensuring the farm operates efficiently. Job Responsibilities:
• Assist with planting, transplanting, weeding, pruning, and harvesting crops for the MIU Student Organic Farm.
• Operate irrigation systems to ensure crops receive adequate water.
• Maintain and clean farm equipment and tools.
• Load harvested agricultural products for transportation to market facilities.
• Support general upkeep and maintenance of farm structures, including greenhouses and the main building.
• Assist with the tracking and reporting of farm activities and product yields.

Job Qualifications:
• Basic Agricultural Knowledge: No prior experience required; training provided on-site.
• Manual Dexterity: Ability to use hand tools and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Team Player: Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive farm environment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to monitor crops for signs of pests, diseases, or deficiencies and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Physical Stamina: Comfort with working outdoors in varying weather conditions and physical activity.
