Job Description
Responsible for delivering primary dispatch from Multan Plant onwards. Responsible for safe receipt, handling, retrival and timely dispatch of Finished Goods to distributions across Pakistan and towards Sundar Plant if required, whilst ensuring FEFO and full compliance of HSE, FSSC 22K and AIBI Audit requirements. Role is responsible for ensuring inventory control on a 24x7 365 day horizon and ensuring all documentation and reporting pertaining to Dispatch and Inventory control are fully available and updated. Responsible for ensuring all operations are conducted within highest standards of controls and adherence to protocol. Responsible for Inventory accuracy and stock count activites. Also responsible for inventory best practices for FGWH at Multan.
• Lead the Multan Greenfield Dispatch team in Shifts
• Lead the AOP locked targets for Primary Dispatch as per Business Plans
• Consistently delivering dispatch within agreed SLAs and ensuring Priority distributions timelines are met 100%
• Custodian of entire range of FLP inventory and stocks
• Lead and Manage the FGWH team and operations to ensure smooth handling, availability and dispatch of stock
• Leading and motivating the FGWH team to deliver AOP targets within given environment
• Ensuring maximum output and achievement against Service-to-Sales delivery within available storage space and resources
• Leading and managing a multi-DC setup with minimal resources and high cost-avoidance impact
• Plan and manage AOP based Primary Dispatch to ensure highest level of service-to-sales delivery
• Lead the planning on day-to-day basis for developing robust and effective plans to ensure cost-effectiveness and delivery of productivity targets
• Management of the Finished Goods inventories at the Multan DC whilst ensuring accurate stock transfer between Multan and Sundar.
• Leading the on-ground team in execution of primary dispatches for promotional activities and ensuring efficient and effective phasing of SKUs to prevent write-offs
• Strategizing and leading team to prevent inventory expiries and write-offs
• Leading the on-ground team to deliver shift-wise, daily, weekly and monthly targets in-line with agreed business volumes
• Directing and planning transportation to ensure cost-effective and efficient delivery of service-to-sales
• Managing the primary dispatch planning to ensure healthy mix of brand and SKU-wise service to sales
• Ensuring maximum stock freshness and lowest possible ageing of finished goods inventories
• Leading and preparing the team to consistently ensure compliance with PepsiCo protocols and 3rd party audits likes FSSC22k and AIBI
• Ensuring stock accuracy, freshness and availability at 3rd Party DCs on a need basis
• Developing team capability and performance to achieve productivity and results whilst maintain a healthy work environment
• Managing and planning contractual and 3rd party resources on shift, daily and weekly basis to provide maximum output and effectiveness
• Team engagement and conflict resolution to prevent administrative challenges within the FGWH team
• Training and building capability for FGWH Operations and planning by developing backups
• Developing capability to operate and best utilize SAP for inventory management and delivery of service-to-sales targets
• Liaison with RPM, Packaging, Processing, Logistics, Supply Chain Customer Services, BIS,HSE, Engineering, Finance, Controls and Sales teams
• Lead the collaboration with 3rd Party Auditors to ensure an environment of adherence to Controls and prevention of any challenges or failures of Controls
• Aligning resources and equipment for complete physical stock count of Finished Goods inventories at all locations
• Responsible for accurate record keeping and data protocols for inventory counting processes and its processing in SAP
• Initiating and leading Kaizens for improving delivery of service-to-sales and ensuring productivity or cost-avoidance
• Responsible for NM and LW Reporting, resolution of NM and LW pertaining to Finished Goods and ensuring all projects related work, maintenance and engineering related work permits and activities are aligned with HSE and PepsiCo protocols
• Responsible for evaluation and sign-off for work permits and maintenance within FGWH
• Responsible for repair and maintenance of MHE and NDC equipment including period and adhoc repairs and maintenance
• Leading the planning and execution of region and belt-wise priorities to ensure maximum coverage and range availability
Qualifications/Requirements
Key Skills
• Minimum Graduate with experience
• Understanding of all control systems, including ware house applications.
• Literate in the use of MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocol
Experience:
• 2-3 years desirable work experience in a Finished Good Ware House with FMCG.
• Experience in a true Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment with an ability to adapt to any situation with minimum turnaround time.
• Proven ability to work in a high-pressure, target driven and result oriented environment with a strong analytical mind and problem solving capability.
• Having end-to-end Supply Chain knowledge with a strong motivation to deliver results.
• Experienced in ERP softwares with a deep understanding of planning, execution, problem solving and impact of different inter-linked ERP functionalities
