FEA Engineer [Wind Turbine Blade]

Quest Global is hiring an FEA Engineer for wind turbine blades in Bengaluru, India. The role involves structural calculations, thermal analysis, and fatigue assessments using ANSYS APDL. Candidates should have 5-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with wind turbine blades. Proficiency in FEA tools and MATLAB is essential. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver high-quality reports and solutions.
Job Requirements
• Structural calculation of handling, storage and transport tools for wind turbine blade using ANSYS APDL.
• Perform contact modeling, static linear, modal, Harmonic analysis
• Proficient in performing steady state and transient thermal analysis.
• Perform analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions.
• Perform high-cycle fatigue (HCF), low-cycle fatigue (LCF), creep, and fracture mechanics.
• Interact with product oweners and other stake holders and develop/implement solutions.
• Understand MATLAB scripts and modify based on the requirements.
• Strong experience in writing analysis reports and certification reports.
• Ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries to our development projects.

Work Experience
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Mechanical engineering with 5-8 years of experience.
• Experience in Wind Turbine blade or other composite materials is prefered.
• Proficiency in FE tools like ANSYS APDL is a must. knowledge of MATLAB codes is added advantage.
• Expertise in providing design solutions for mechanical components through the utilization of finite element analysis (FEA).
• Exposure to international standards on safety and mechanical design.
• Good understanding of the complete product life cycle.
