Farm Manager SA is seeking an entry-level farm laborer for their organic farm in Gauteng, South Africa. The role requires practical experience in organic farming, pest control, and post-harvest handling. Responsibilities include managing cold storage, sorting fruit, and identifying pests. Krugersdorp area – Gauteng: This organic farm producing pomegranates and other organic crops requires a skilled individual with practical experience in organic farming practices to join the team.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm.
• Practical knowledge of organic pest control methods, including organic pesticides, fungal sprays, and organic fertilizers.
• Ability to scout for pests and diseases and correctly identify common agricultural pests.
• Experience with post-harvest handling, including:

o Cold storage management.

o Sorting and grading fruit.

o Pomegranate deseeding processes advantageous.
• Working knowledge and experience in organic cultivation of the following crops:

o Avocado.

o Cape gooseberry.

o Granadilla.

o Lemons.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a farm team.
• Must be reliable, physically fit, and willing to work in an outdoor agricultural environment.
• Proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm.
• Practical knowledge of organic pest control methods, including organic pesticides, fungal sprays, and organic fertilizers.
