About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Commissioning Manager to support the Construction Manager in defining and managing completions deliverables, and to oversee the provision of CCMS resources for construction verification. This role is integral to the successful handover of systems and supports one of the world’s foremost engineering projects in the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead organisational structure management and workforce planning for the commissioning phase.
• Drive recruitment and onboarding processes for commissioning personnel.
• Establish contracts for technical services, tooling, and test equipment to support commissioning activities.
• Develop and maintain key project plans, including the Commissioning Management Plan, CCMS Management Plan, and Handover Management Plan.
• Oversee systemisation and commissioning scheduling.
• Develop commissioning strategies, detailed procedures, and work packs.
• Coordinate load commissioning ramp-up and prepare feed request documentation.
• Define and execute performance testing plans and reporting frameworks.
• Implement project-specific isolation and permitting procedures, including appointment and competency verification.
• Establish and manage high-voltage isolation and permitting procedures aligned with project-specific requirements.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in commissioning management, ideally in large-scale energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
• Electrical or mechanical trade qualification, or a tertiary degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Deep understanding of multi-discipline completions and commissioning methodologies.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian standards, regulatory frameworks, and codes of practice in HSE, construction, inspection, and commissioning.
• Expertise in quality management systems and advanced competency in CCMS database configuration and oversight.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, planning tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and commissioning-specific software platforms.
• Demonstrable knowledge of completions processes, protocols, and verification workflows.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with project management, owners’ teams, and operational readiness groups.
