About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as our Executive Director. As the primary spokesperson for Greenways for Nashville, you will be responsible for promoting the organization's mission and vision, building relationships with key stakeholders, and overseeing the implementation of GfN's strategic plan.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and management experience within a nonprofit or comparable organization. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. A strong understanding of local government processes and the ability to articulate and implement a long-term organizational vision are also essential.

Responsibilities
• Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to GfN's programs, services, and operations. Develop and implement plans to achieve GfN's mission and goals.
• Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Metro Parks, elected officials, community organizations, and donors.
• Fundraising: Support and expand fundraising efforts, including sponsorships, grants, donor recognition, and capital campaigns.
