Hull Museums and Gallery is seeking an Exhibitions and Events Assistant to support the delivery of a busy schedule of exhibitions across the Museums Quarter and public and corporate events across the museums and Ferens Art Gallery.

The post holder will be responsible for liaising with exhibition lenders and community groups to deliver exhibitions and supporting events at the Streetlife Museum, Wilberforce House Museum and Hull and East Riding Museum of Archaeology. The post will involve planning and overseeing installs, managing risk, providing information for marketing and promotion and collecting and processing visitor data, feedback and evaluation.

You will also lead on the planning and delivery of income generating public and corporate events across the service, ranging from talks to large scale events and evening corporate events. Duties include managing bookings, liaising with suppliers, risk assessments, setting up resources and equipment (including IT and Audio Visual) and managing the smooth delivery of these events.

The role will involve evening or weekend work.
