Lilly is seeking an Environmental Monitoring Technician for a night shift in Indianapolis, IN. The role involves routine environmental monitoring in classified manufacturing areas, ensuring compliance with cGMP, supporting laboratory operations, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma, understanding of cGMP, and experience in aseptic manufacturing preferred. The position is temporary, lasting 1-4 years, with potential overtime and a competitive benefits package.

Preform routine and investigational environmental monitoring of classified manufacturing, filling, and support area's, as well as operation personnel monitoring. Support daily EM laboratory operations.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
• Support production operations by means of EM sampling of classified manufacturing, filling and support areas and operations personnel.
• Support daily EM laboratory operations and process/equipment qualification activities as necessary
• Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP's) and maintain constant inspection-readiness
• Participate in process streamlining and continuous performance improvement
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals
Additional Preferences:
• Strong understanding of CGMP's
• Understanding of regulatory standards/ requirements for EM
• Knowledge of / familiarity with Parenteral production environments and operations
• Strong computer and documentation skills and attention to detail
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals
• Environmental Monitoring experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred
• Experience in Aseptic manufacturing or production, QC, QA, Technical Service or Regulatory is desirable
• Technical writing and written skills are a plus
Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Known allergens in area
• Work in a dynamic and fast paced environment with potential to work shifts and weekends
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and be able to pass, push and pull to execute specific aspects of job duty
• Post Offer test exam may be required
• Overtime may be required
• EM Technician tasks involve repetitive motions
• EM Technician require gowning certifications and repeatedly aseptically gown on a daily basis
• Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Weekend overtime routinely occurs based on rotating schedule
• This position is not permanent. It is for a fixed duration of 1-4 years and employed directly by Eli Lilly. It includes a competitive benefits package.
