Environmental Testing Specialist

beBee Careers is hiring an Environmental Testing Specialist in Dubai. The role involves collecting and transporting water samples, preparing solutions, conducting routine analyses, and performing QA/QC checks. Responsibilities include instrument calibration, method development, and maintaining a clean lab environment. This is a full-time position with no degree required.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in collecting, preserving, and transporting water samples while maintaining their integrity. They will also be responsible for preparing and storing standard solutions and other reagents required for analysis. Additionally, they will perform daily, weekly, and monthly checks as per ISO/APHA methods and conduct QA/QC checks and standardization as directed by the section incharge or Lab Manager.

Responsibilities:
• Calibrate and verify instruments internally as instructed.
• Perform routine wet chemistry analysis for parameters such as BOD, COD, ammonia, sulfide, TDS, etc.
• Develop new methods and protocols to enhance laboratory capabilities.
• Collaborate with the laboratory team to conduct validation and measurement uncertainty studies.
• Maintain a clean laboratory environment.
