Job Description:

Fulcrum Environmental Consulting, Inc. (Fulcrum) continually recruits for Environmental Technicians and Scientists to join our firm. Typical responsibilities include performing hazardous building material (HBM) inspections for asbestos containing materials (ACM) and lead based paint (LBP) surveys; asbestos abatement oversight and air sampling; and indoor air quality (IAQ) and industrial hygiene (IH) sampling. Other assignments may include environmental soil sampling, groundwater sampling, Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) preparation, and other general environmental staff services as applicable and based on experience.

Employment as an environmental technician is an entry level position. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates should have knowledge of or experience in environmental sampling, scientific method, laboratory analysis, statistical analysis, a professional presence, and exceptional report writing skills. A Bachelor of Science in biology, geology, chemistry, safety, industrial hygiene, environmental science, engineering, or a similar field is required.

Environmental Technician is a common starting position within Fulcrum. Your pace of advancement within Fulcrum will be largely sourced in your desire to grow both professionally and educationally.

Environmental Scientists are generally 2 to 3 year professionals with expertise in an area of Fulcrum's core practice areas (i.e. HBM, IH, IAQ, etc.).
