Environmental Field Technician Role in the Bay Area

About the Role:

You will spend most of your time at project sites in your respective area and occasionally throughout California. You will also prepare reports and other project documents related to field operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent degree in a Science-related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in the industry, with a focus on asbestos, lead, water intrusion, indoor air quality, and mold/moisture inspections.
• Skills: Excellent communication and client management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Certifications: Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) required for asbestos work, CA Inspector/Assessor or Sampling Technician preferred or ability to obtain for lead work.
• Other Requirements: Mastery of the English language – written and spoken, valid driver's license, reliable transportation, ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and more.
Responsibilities:
• Perform air, surface, and water sampling.
• Conduct thorough investigations related to Industrial Hygiene, including indoor air quality, mold/moisture inspections, asbestos surveys, and lead-based paint inspections.
• Develop remediation plans, report findings, and ensure compliance with industry guidelines.
• Maintain certifications and licenses.
• Respond to client emergencies as needed.
