Job Description

Tech Tammina is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a healthy, safe, and productive workplace.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental engineering, with at least 7 years of experience as an HSE professional in a technical environment. They will be knowledgeable about national, state, and local HSE regulations and management systems.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain a healthy, safe, and productive workplace by enforcing standards and procedures, training workers, and representing the interests of the company.
• Work closely with operations and facility managers to identify, control, minimize, mitigate, and remove risks in day-to-day operations.
• Participate in and facilitate HSE audits, front-end process engineering events, risk assessment, evaluation of new processes, and review of facility layouts for potential HSE issues.
• Manage site safety programs, including PPE, industrial vehicles, LOTO, machine guarding, GHS, and other related activities.
• Lead and train emergency response teams, conduct routine area safety audits, and represent the company during state or federal agency audits.
• Ensure compliance with BATFE regulations for on-site explosive storage magazines and corresponding regulations.
• Manage workplace injury claims, OSHA recordability, and maintain required documents.
• Conduct industrial hygiene activities, including air, noise, hazardous material sampling, Safety Data Sheet SDS review, and PPE assessments.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, Env Engineering, Occupational Safety, or similar field.
• At least 7 years of experience as an HSE professional in a technical environment.
• Knowledge of national, state, and local HSE regulations and management systems.
