• Job Summary*

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pollution Control Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with environmental regulations and laws.

About the Role:
• Perform the duties of the Pollution Control Officer, including processing and coordinating regulatory compliance related to environmental management.
• Evaluate and ensure proper operation and maintenance of environmental management facilities and systems.
• Monitor the use, importation, and distribution of chemicals in accordance with relevant regulations.
• Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to maintain high standards of performance.
• Support the Safety & Health Committee in promoting safety and health programs within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and develop the company's Environmental Management Plan and Contingency Plan.
• Prepare and review reports on environmental management, as required by regulatory bodies.
• Plan and execute quality assurance programs to ensure adherence to industry standards.
• Provide training to employees on pollution control practices and procedures.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• Professional certification in Safety Officer is preferred.
• Relevant work experience as a Pollution Control Officer or in environmental management.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Regular travel to various locations may be required.
