Job Description

The main responsibilities of this role include:
• Ensuring legal compliance and managing hazardous waste.
• Overseeing the transfer and reception of new equipment.
• Developing and implementing environmental management systems (EMS) in accordance with ISO 14001 standards.
• Conducting initial involvement in new employee training.
• Crafting action plans for COVID-19 outbreaks in the plant.
• Coordinating government audits, including SEMARNAT, STPS, IMSS, and PROFEPA.
• Maintaining standards, regulations, and safety protocols to prevent accidents.
• Administering the industrial medical service.
• Managing environmental health and safety standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position within the automotive sector.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Familiarity with environmental management systems (ISO 14001-2015), occupational health and safety standards (OHSAS 18000, ISO 45001), and comprehensive waste management.
• Knowledge of security devices and card-padlock systems.
• Ability to manage suppliers and contractors safely.
• Experience in administering chemicals and personal protective equipment.
• Skills in emergency planning and coordinating safety brigades.
• Training and monitoring expertise for the Safety and Hygiene Commission.
