Achieving Environmental Compliance in Manufacturing Operations

This role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting environmental reporting, and developing plans to mitigate environmental impacts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing air permitting processes, conducting air dispersion modeling, and developing environmental plans such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP), and Startup, Shutdown, and Malfunction (SSM) plans.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports in accordance with environmental regulations.
• Manage air permitting processes, including applications and renewals, specific to manufacturing operations in the designated regions.
• Conduct air dispersion modeling to assess environmental impacts and ensure compliance with air quality standards in manufacturing environments across the southeastern United States.
• Develop and maintain environmental plans tailored to manufacturing sites in Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, and beyond.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to air compliance regulations, including emissions tracking and reporting for manufacturing facilities in the region.
• Provide technical support and guidance on water discharge and solid waste management practices in industrial operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement environmental best practices and sustainability initiatives within manufacturing industries, with sensitivity to regional regulatory standards.
