Your Role As Our Full-time Environmental Sustainability Manager

As our Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will take the lead in developing, implementing, and monitoring sustainability initiatives that drive real change. Your role will span across sustainable sourcing, environmental impact reduction, ethical labor compliance, and internal waste reduction programs. You'll work with suppliers to ensure deforestation-free feed sourcing, enforce prudent antibiotic use policies, and improve animal welfare certification processes. You'll spearhead strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, optimize feed conversion ratios, and enhance water and energy efficiency within our operations. Ethical sourcing is also a priority-so you'll conduct labor rights audits, enforce compliance, and ensure our procurement teams are trained on best ethical practices. Additionally, you'll drive internal waste reduction efforts by improving recycling processes, reducing landfill waste, and enhancing energy conservation initiatives. This role requires collaboration, strategy, and a commitment to making sustainability an integral part of everything we do.

In Order To Do This, You'll Need The Following
• Bachelor's or master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, agriculture, supply chain management, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in sustainability management, preferably in the animal agriculture or food production industry
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and certification standards
• Proficiency in data analysis, sustainability reporting, and lifecycle assessment
• Ability to work cross-functionally with suppliers, procurement teams, and regulatory bodies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
