Job Overview

The Environmental Professional - Project Manager is responsible for managing projects, leading teams, ensuring profitability, and developing client relationships.
Main Responsibilities:
• Project Management: overseeing due diligence, site remediation, regulatory compliance, and permitting processes.
• Team Leadership: balancing workload in a fast-paced environment and making strategic decisions.
• Business Development: identifying new opportunities and growing existing client relationships.
• Quality Control: ensuring high standards across all projects and services.
• Regulatory Compliance: navigating federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
• Field Supervision and Subcontractor Coordination: effective management of field operations and subcontractors.
• Proposal Development: creating technical proposals that meet client needs.
• Financial Management: overseeing accounts receivable and ensuring timely payment.
• Budgeting and Scheduling: managing project timelines and budgets.
• Client Relationship Management: building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Mentorship and Staff Development: guiding and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of experience in Site Remediation, with a proven track record of success.
• NJDEP Subsurface Evaluator/Closure Certification is a significant advantage.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training is mandatory.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Bluebeam is essential.
• Knowledge of New Jersey LSRP support services is beneficial.
• Strong field experience and knowledge are crucial for success.
