Job Description

Green India Foundation is seeking two Environmental Engineers to support climate action initiatives. Responsibilities include researching climate developments, analyzing renewable energy projects, and maintaining databases on emissions. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Engineering and strong skills in sustainability, analysis, and communication. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring at least 3 days a week in the Mumbai office.

The Green India Foundation is on a mission to raise awareness about the climate crisis and drive impactful action to combat it. As part of this journey, we are seeking two bright and dynamic Environmental Engineers who are passionate about making a real difference in the fight against climate change.

About the Role:
• As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching, analyzing, and communicating climate-related developments while supporting renewable energy initiatives.
• You will stay updated with global climate and technological advancements and create weekly video summaries.
• You will develop and dynamically update databases on emissions, renewable capacities, projects, manufacturers, and other relevant climate data (India & International).
• You will research and analyze costs & feasibility of renewable initiatives for climate projects.
• You will keep track of government policies & building regulations for renewable energy adoption.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field from a reputed institution.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of renewable energy, sustainability, and conservation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in creating presentations & videos.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for project assessment.

We are a pioneering think tank-cum-climate organization dedicated to raising awareness about the climate crisis and driving impactful action to combat it. We offer a hybrid work model with a minimum of 3 days a week at our office in Fort, Mumbai.
