Environmental Sustainability Associate - Intern Program

POET is seeking an Environmental Sustainability Associate Intern to support the Biorefining team in Sioux Falls, SD. The intern will assist with environmental compliance, analyze data for program improvements, and develop plans for continuous enhancements. Ideal candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills, and an understanding of bioprocessing operations.
Job Summary

The Environmental Engineering Intern will assist the POET Biorefining team in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our biorefineries while meeting environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with environmental compliance of POET Bioprocessing
• Analyze data and recommend improvements to biorefinery environmental programs
• Develop implementation plans for continuous improvement projects

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to change and understand technical and day-to-day operations of a bioprocessing facility.
