Braun Intertec Corporation is hiring an Environmental Staff Engineer/Scientist I for their Lenexa, KS office. The role requires a bachelor's degree in geoscience or related fields and 0-3 years of experience. Responsibilities include conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, fieldwork, report writing, and collaborating with clients and subcontractors. The position involves up to 20% travel to project sites. Compensation ranges from $55,500 to $83,500.
Braun Intertec Corporation is seeking an Environmental Engineer/Staff Scientist/Geoscientist to join our Kansas Investigation & Remediation Division in our Lenexa or Topeka, Kansas offices. The preferred candidate should have between 0-3 years of professional work experience and hold at least a bachelor’s degree in geoscience, environmental science/engineering, or related field. The successful candidate will contribute to the firm’s success by: Conducting Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) which will include interviewing property owners, conducting Site assessments, and reviewing/summarizing pertinent regulatory documents. Assisting with report writing and data tabulation including Phase I and II ESAs, and other technical documents for submittal to clients and regulatory agencies. Conduct field work such as installing groundwater monitoring wells, collecting soil, groundwater, and air samples, and other field activities. Oversight of subcontractors in the field including drillers and remediation contractors. Collaborate and build relationships with other members of the firm, vendors, and assist clients with developing creative solutions for environmental problems. Building relationships with coworkers, clients, vendors, and partners.
