Green India Foundation is seeking two Environmental Engineers for a climate think tank in Mumbai. The role involves researching climate developments, supporting renewable energy initiatives, and creating presentations. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Engineering and strong knowledge of sustainability. This is a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week in the office.

Job background:

We are establishing a pioneering think tank-cum-climate organization dedicated to raising awareness about the climate crisis and driving impactful action to combat it. As we embark on this journey, we are looking for two bright and dynamic Environmental Engineers who are passionate about making a real difference in the fight against climate change.

Role Overview:

As an Environmental Engineer, you will play a crucial role in researching, analyzing, and communicating climate-related developments while supporting renewable energy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Stay updated with global climate and technological advancements and create weekly video summaries.
• Develop and dynamically update databases on emissions, renewable capacities, projects, manufacturers, and other relevant climate data (India & International).
• Research and analyze costs & feasibility of renewable initiatives for climate projects.
• Keep track of government policies & building regulations for renewable energy adoption.
• Collaborate closely with the management to create compelling presentations to drive climate action.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related field from a reputed institution.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of renewable energy, sustainability, and conservation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in creating presentations & videos.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills for project assessment.

4. Communication: Excellent command over English (written & verbal).

Location & Work Mode:

Hybrid Work Model – Minimum 3 days a week at our office in Fort, Mumbai
