The Myrtles Nursing Center is hiring for Environmental Services roles in Columbia, MS. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for residents, performing routine tasks, and handling soiled laundry and equipment. Candidates should have an interest in working with the elderly and be able to work well with others. Positions are available as full-time or part-time with pay ranging from $9.86 to $25.99 per hour.
Responsibilities:

Adhere to directives of Environmental Services Supervisor, Administrator,or Director of Nurses.
To keep the nursing facility in a clean and sanitary condition in order to provide for the welfare and core of the residents in a healthful environment.
Must have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis.
Perform task despite frequent interruptions.
Ability to perform task with due consideration for residents in area.
Exercise initiative and judgment involved in maintaining assigned area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Must be willing to handle soiled, dirty laundry, and clean soiled, dirty lavatories, beds, chairs, and equipment within the nursing facility.
Must have the ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors.
