Job Description
Kemptville District Hospital is hiring Environmental Services Technicians on a casual basis. The role offers competitive wages, benefits, and opportunities for cross-training. Applicants should have a minimum of Grade 10 education and be able to meet physical demands. Shifts include mornings, days, evenings, and nights. KDH is seeking Environmental Services Technicians to join the team on a casual basis.

In addition to the Hospital’s requirements for commitment to the Mission and Philosophy of Care the following are requirements for this position.
Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma preferred (minimum Grade 10 required)
• Previous job-related experience a definite asset
• Must be able to meet the physical/mental/visual demands of the position as detailed in the job description
• Good attendance and work performance required
Shifts:
• Must be available and willing to work morning, day, evening, and night shifts
• Must be available to do project work
Starting Wage:
$23.85/hr

Please note: In order to work in a healthcare facility, the Public Hospitals Act 1990, Regulation 965 requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
