Job Description

UW Health is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor in Madison, WI. This full-time role involves leading the Environmental Services team to ensure quality work and prevent infection. Responsibilities include planning, directing work, and conducting inspections. Candidates should have supervisory experience, preferably in healthcare. Work Schedule :

100% FTE, day shift, Monday – Friday, between the hours of 9:00am – 5:30pm. Some weekends and holidays required. You will work at University Hospital. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to:
• Help make an impact on patient care by leading our remarkable Environmental Services team as they play a critical role in preventing infection.
• Plan, direct and assign the work to be completed by the environmental services technicians, seniors and environmental services floor care technicians.
• Document completion of work through daily productivity reports.
• Complete inspections, rounding, documentation and regular meetings with other departments to ensure quality of work.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Work Experience
• 2 years previous supervisory or lead role experience in a large organization Required
• 5 years previous supervisory experience at an acute health care facility Preferred

Licenses & Certifications
• Hazardous waste awareness certificate within 1 Year Required
