Our dedicated, expert team at AdventHealth South Overland Park provides excellent care to communities of southeastern Johnson County, with 24/7 emergency room services, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery, advanced imaging center, physical therapy and more.

The Role You’ll Contribute

Provides supervision for the daily functions and activities within environmental services department. Is responsible for

supervising EVS staff to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met for the hospital and adjacent facilities.

Promotes teamwork to ensure work is completed timely and helps maintain an efficient and safe working environment.

Assumes responsibility of day, evening or night shift operation of the EVS department and related responsibilities.

The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
• Supervises/monitors staff to ensure that work is properly performed
• May create and review schedules. Approves scheduling requests
• Documents all work that has been performed such as Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Regularly surveys departmental procedures for adherence to acceptable cleaning practices
• May supervise all staff by assigning work, training, hiring evaluation performance, progressive discipline and recommending termination as is appropriate

Minimum Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
• High School Education or equivalent years of experience
• Two years of technical experience

Preferred Qualifications
• One year of leadership/management experience
