Maintain Cleanliness: The primary responsibility of an Environmental Services Representative is to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of all areas within the Deaconess Health System facilities. This includes but is not limited to patient rooms, public areas, restrooms, and offices.

Follow Safety Standards: The Environmental Services Representative will be responsible for following all safety and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Perform General Cleaning Tasks: This role will involve performing general cleaning tasks such as mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

Stock and Maintain Supplies: The Environmental Services Representative will be responsible for restocking and maintaining supplies such as paper products, cleaning supplies, and hand sanitizers to ensure they are readily available for use.

Dispose of Waste: Proper disposal of waste and hazardous materials is crucial in maintaining a clean and safe environment. The Environmental Services Representative will be responsible for following proper disposal procedures.

Report Maintenance Issues: As part of the role, the Environmental Services Representative will be responsible for identifying and reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution.

Collaborate with Team: The Environmental Services Representative will work closely with other team members to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This may include assisting with tasks outside of the typical responsibilities.
