Job Description

SCS Engineers is seeking an Environmental Services Leader for their Central Business Unit, focusing on growth in the Oklahoma market. This full-time position involves client development, project management, and collaboration with national experts. The role requires a relevant degree and significant experience in environmental consulting. While based in Yukon, OK, the position allows for some remote work, with an expectation of being in the office 2 to 3 days per week.
About the position

SCS Engineers is looking for an Environmental Services Leader to join our established team serving the Oklahoma market. We are a nationwide firm of growth-oriented Seller-Doers seeking a full-time Environmental Services (ES) Leader to help grow our business in the industrial/commercial and real estate markets. The position will also serve as a key leader in our Central Business Unit Environmental Services (ES) Practice and will work alongside the Central Business Unit ES Practice Leader to drive operational growth, project deliverable standardization and efficiencies, and overall quality and safe delivery (proactive safety!) across our nine Central U.S. offices. Responsibilities
• Developing new and existing clients
,
• Integrating with other Environmental Services and Solid Waste Services staff across the company
,
• Managing and being responsible for Profit/Loss of your projects and the business unit
,
• Seeking profitable ways to increase Satellite Office staff
,
• Playing a leading role in new client acquisition
,
• Maintaining or growing relationships with existing clients
,
• Collaborating with SCS national technical experts as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients success
,
• Reviewing RFPs, assisting with go/no go decisions, drafting and reviewing proposals
,
• Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients
,
• Assisting clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges such as Environmental Due Diligence, Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation, Brownfield Assessment and Redevelopment, Environmental Permitting, Reporting and Compliance, Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting, Hydrogeologic Investigations, Environmental Compliance, and Liquids Management Issues.

Requirements
• Bachelors or Masters of Science in an environmental related science or engineering field required
,
• 10+ years of related work experience required
,
• 5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm required
,
• Business Development experience in the Oklahoma market required
,
• Professional registration (e.g., P.E. or P.G.) or certification (e.g., CHMM, CIH, REM, or similar) preferred
,
• Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required
