Environmental Services Leader

SCS Engineers is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Leader in Yukon, OK, to grow their business in industrial/commercial and real estate markets. Responsibilities include project management, business development, and mentoring staff. The role requires at least 2 to 3 days in the office, allowing for some remote work. Candidates should have a relevant degree, over 10 years of experience, and business development expertise in the Oklahoma market.
SCS Engineers is looking for an Environmental Services Leader to join our established team serving the Oklahoma market. We are a nationwide firm of growth-oriented Seller-Doers seeking a full-time Environmental Services (ES) Leader to help grow our business in the industrial/commercial and real estate markets. The position will also serve as a key leader in our Central Business Unit Enviironmental Services (ES) Practice and will work alongside the Central Business Unit ES Practice Leader to drive operational growth, project deliverable standardization and efficiencies, and overall quality and safe delivery (proactive safety!) across our nine Central U.S. offices. You will be based in our Yukon, OK office and are expected to be in the office at least 2 to 3 days per week, so some remote work is acceptable.

You will wear several hats, including project management responsibility, business development responsibility focused on growing the ES Practice, managing and mentoring ES staff, providing technical expertise, and serving as a Seller-Doer.

As our Environmental Leader, you will contribute to our growth of the office by:
• Developing new and existing clients
• Integrating with other Environmental Services and Solid Waste Services staff across the company
• Managing and being responsible for Profit/Loss of your projects and the business unit
• Seeking profitable ways to increase Satellite Office staff

As a Seller you will contribute to our growth by:
• Playing a leading role in new client acquisition
• Maintaining or growing relationships with existing clients
• Collaborating with SCS national technical experts as we develop strategies for expanding ways in which we contribute to our clients success
• Reviewing RFPs, assisting with go/no go decisions, drafting and reviewing proposals
• Enhancing the value of the services that we perform for existing clients

As a Doer you will work with a team of professionals, including SCS national experts in various fields, to assist our clients in resolving a wide variety of environmental challenges such as:
• Environmental Due Diligence - Phase 1 and Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments
• Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation - soil, groundwater, stormwater, wastewater, subsurface gas, vapor intrusion
• Brownfield Assessment and Redevelopment
• Environmental Permitting, Reporting and Compliance – (e.g. RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, CAA, SDWA, CWA, FIFRA, OPA, EPCRA, NEPA)
• Groundwater Monitoring and Reporting
• Hydrogeologic Investigations
• Environmental Compliance
• Liquids Management Issues
• Bachelors or Masters of Science in an environmental related science or engineering field required
• 10+ years of related work experience required
• 5+ years working at an environmental consulting firm required
• Business Development experience in the Oklahoma market required
• Professional registration (e.g., P.E. or P.G.) or certification (e.g., CHMM, CIH, REM, or similar) preferred
• Valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing required

USD $120,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
