Newman Regional Health is seeking an Environmental Services Coordinator for a full-time day shift position in Emporia, KS. The role involves planning, managing, and coordinating the Environmental Services Department, overseeing staff, conducting inspections, and providing training. We have a FT day shift position available 6am-2:30pm

Under the direct supervision of the Environmental Services Supervisor, the Environmental Services Coordinator assists in planning, managing and coordinating the activities of the Environmental Services Department.

Job Duties:
• Completes work schedule on assigned shift; assures all work areas are covered
• Daily observation on staff; performs inspections on work being completed bases on existing procedures and follows up on any corrections needed
• Plan and assign projects and follow up to assure completion
• Initiates and completes training of aides on cleaning procedures
• Demonstrates good judgment in resolving issues and concerns.
• Assists with daily work as needed per staffing needs

High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

One year environmental services work experience required
