Role Overview

Sodexo is Growing! We are seeking an Environmental Services/Custodial Manager 2 for Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. The EVS Manager will report to the Operations Manager at this 800 bed hospital, overseeing approximately 50 frontline housekeepers on 2nd and 3rd shift with rotating weekends and holidays.
What You'll Do
• Be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores.
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff while working closely with the Infectious Control department.
• Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives.
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating System.
• Support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

• Experience leading, training, and managing a team, developing and motivating a team to exceed client and customer expectations in service delivery.
• Customer service and/or guest satisfaction experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently to drive programs.
• Ability to monitor compliance and reach project target dates of completion.
• Experience effectively managing projects within agreed-upon timelines.
• Results and safety driven.
• Proficient with computers and other technology.
