Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Environmental Services Manager 2 for ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed teaching medical center, the flagship facility and the heart of ECU Health. This is the third largest Level I Trauma Center in the nation and serves as the teaching hospital for the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. This is a 3rd Shift opening (10pm start time) managing a team of 25. This role does require working a rotating weekend schedule every other weekend. This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement. Preferred candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, military service, and excellent customer service skills.
What You'll Do:
• be responsible for driving client and patient satisfaction scores;
• provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
• effectively manages the Unit Operating System; and/or
• support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

What You Bring:
• have experience leading and managing a team;
• have experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon timelines;
• are results and safety driven;
• have in-depth knowledge of housekeeping systems and procedures;
• have experience improving patient satisfaction, and driving full compliance to HCAHPS, local, state and Joint Commission standards;
• have 3+ years previous custodial / housekeeping or similar management experience., in a hospital, health care experience preferred but not required;
• are proficient with computers and other technology.
