Job Description
Resource + Land Consultants is seeking a full-time Environmental Scientist/Project Manager in Savannah, GA, with on-site or remote opportunities. The role involves conducting field work, wetland assessments, managing mitigation projects, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience and a relevant BS degree, along with skills in ecological assessments, GPS data collection, and GIS software.

Role Description:
This is a full-time role for an Environmental Scientist/Project Manager at Resource + Land Consultants located in Savannah, GA with on-site or remote opportunities. The Environmental Scientist/Project Manager will be responsible for conducting field work, wetland assessments and delineations, and manage compensatory mitigation projects. The role includes preparing reports, analyzing data, and ensuring project compliance with environmental regulations. The candidate will also work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions while maintaining a balance between environmental stewardship and development objectives.
Preferred Experience:
• 5+ years of related experience
• BS in relevant environmental discipline
• Experience leading ecological field tasks such as:
o Aquatic resource delineations
o Stream buffer determinations
o Threatened/endangered species habitat assessments & surveys
o Familiarity with federal/state/local environmental permitting and mitigation strategies in Georgia
o Identification of flora/fauna across Georgia & South Carolina
o Experience with GPS data collection
o Proficient with GIS; ArcMap and ArcPro
o Technical writing and communication skills; able to produce complete and accurate documentation
