Duration: 6-12 month contract to hire

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for environmental fieldwork to join their current team and help conduct compliance inspections related to illegal sewage discharges, water quality violations, water wells, and / or fish kills in their local community.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct site visits for compliance inspections, sampling, and reporting
• Perform occasional field testing for contaminants like E.coli
• Interpret environmental regulations and apply them to real-world scenarios
• Maintain accurate digital records, reports, and permit files
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and the public

Qualifications:
• Bachelors' of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Soil Science, or related field
• Hands on experience or coursework in wastewater, biodiversity, EPA regulations, soil mechanics, geotechnical systems, hydrology, GIS, or agricultural sciences
• Experience or strong foundational knowledge in septic system installation
• Prior experience conducting sample testing
• Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
• Willing to be outside for long-periods of the day in hot or cold weather
