Your Responsibilities as a Scientist 2:
• Collect soil, water, and/or air, samples utilizing different sampling techniques
• Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
• Assist with due diligence (ASTM Phase I) projects
• Write technical reports and proposals associated with the Connecticut Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs) and Property Transfer Program.
• Actively develop your own career growth.
• Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.

What we're looking for:
• BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field.
• 3+ years of experience with environmental field sampling and data collection.
• Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
• 40% fieldwork on average.
• Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
• Experience with data management and report preparation.
• Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Open to candidates in Hartford Metro area.
