About the position

EnviroScience, Inc. is seeking a full-time, entry-level Environmental Scientist to join our Compliance Services Practice Area at our headquarters in Stow, Ohio. This role is ideal for individuals who can work independently, manage multiple tasks, and possess strong scientific writing skills. The position involves a variety of fieldwork and data management tasks, requiring flexibility for travel and the ability to work in diverse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities
• Multi media sampling including surface water, groundwater, sediment, soil sampling, stormwater and waste
,
• Performing audits, inspections and site visits
,
• Conducting field work year-round in adverse weather and rough terrain
,
• Organizing and reviewing data and preparing reports and technical proposals
,
• Ability to represent the client's best interests and support the client as needed during the duration of the project
,
• Flexibility for overnight and extended travel
,
• Other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
• Associate degree in environmental science or a related field
,
• 0-3 years field experience
,
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and skills
,
• Experience with soil classification
,
• Experience with Global Position Systems (GPS)
,
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
,
• Self-motivated, organized, customer focused and able to work independently and part of a team

Nice-to-haves
• 40 Hour HAZWOPER preferred but not required

• Able to operate a boat preferred but not required
