Weston is seeking an Emissions Testing Specialist that must be ready to lead and grow within Weston’s Integrated Air Services (IAS) Group. Projects will focus on clients in the pulp and paper, petroleum production, petrochemical, refining, electric utility, and other industry sectors vital to Weston’s IAS business line.

Locations: Auburn, AL

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• BS or AS degree in an Environmental Science, Physical Science, or Engineering discipline preferred, but Technical High School graduates with mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Testing experience is a plus but not necessary for the entry-level position, on the job technical and safety training is provided.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• The ability to learn technical sampling techniques, work with a team, work outdoors at elevation, and lift to 50 lbs. are required to grow within WESTON in this unique position.
Responsibilities:
• Working safely in a positive enterprise and team environment.
• Technical tasks of the position include performing scientific emissions testing procedures utilizing EPA or ASTM Test Methodologies.
• Traveling 75% of the time. Mostly within the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Project assignments with Weston groups in other regions in the US are possible which opens the door to explore areas of the country.
• All travel expenses are fully paid and a daily per diem rate for meals is provided.
