We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty Member to join our team in the Department of Environmental Science, Biology, and Nutrition. The successful candidate will have a strong academic background and relevant professional experience in the respective field. The position requires teaching courses in Environmental Science, Biology, and Nutrition, emphasizing ecological sustainability, biological sciences, and nutritional health. This will involve guiding students through critical theories and practical applications, encouraging inquiry, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, the position requires assessing student assignments thoroughly and providing constructive feedback, evaluating student performance through assignments, projects, participation, and presentations using standard college-level grading methods, and maintaining accurate records of student progress and performance.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field, along with relevant professional experience in the respective field. A Doctorate in the same field is preferred but not required. The position requires excellent communication and teaching skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field, publications, presentations, and research in relevant fields, certification in public health, dietetics, or environmental health, and knowledge of Canvas or similar learning management systems.

Work Environment
The work environment is typically quiet to moderately noisy while in the office. The office temperature is about 70 degrees.
