Environmental Science Educator

The New Jersey Institute of Technology is hiring an Environmental Science Educator to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Responsibilities include developing lectures, organizing activities, grading assignments, and meeting with students. A Master's or Ph.D. in a related field is required, though experience may be considered. This is a full-time position based in Newark, NJ.
• *Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Environmental Science at New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver lectures on Environmental Science topics
• Organize in-class activities relevant to course material
• Prepare and grade assignments and exams to assess student achievement
• Learn to use Canvas, NJIT's online course management system
• Provide time during the week to meet with students outside of class
• Submit grades to the registrar at the end of the semester

Requirements:
• M.S. or Ph.D. degree in related fields, or relative experience
• The formal education and experience prerequisites may be waived at the university's discretion if the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position
