What You’ll Do as an Environmental Risk Assessor:
• Lead the development of ecological risk assessments under Pennsylvania Act 2 program
• Oversee multi-disciplinary teams on soil, groundwater, air quality, and biota investigations
• Serve as the go-to project manager: scope, budget, schedule, client expectations—all under your command
• Collaborate with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure top-quality outcomes
• Drive business growth through proposal development, strategic networking, and repeat business
• Mentor junior staff, grow internal capabilities, and champion technical excellence
What You Bring as an Environmental Risk Assessor:
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, GeoChemistry, or a related field
• 4+ years in regulatory toxicology, environmental consulting, EPA/state cleanup programs, or product safety
• Strong understanding of data quality and sampling design for risk assessments
• Experience leading large-scale environmental projects and interfacing with regulatory bodies
• Business development savvy with a proven track record of winning new work
• A collaborative, client-focused mindset with a drive to deliver results
