Atlas is seeking an Environmental Risk Assessor for their Cleveland or Columbus, OH teams. The role involves technical support for petroleum portfolios, compliance with BUSTR regulations, and expertise in risk assessment and fate transport modeling. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering field, 8 years of relevant experience, and strong problem-solving skills. Atlas offers a comprehensive benefits program.

We are seeking a Risk Assessor, Environmental Investigation & Remediation to join our Cleveland or Columbus, OH team! Come join us!
• *Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Technical Resource for Major Petroleum Portfolio.
+ Efficient completion of upper level BUSTR reporting, including Tier 2 Calibrations, Tier 3 Evaluations, MCAs, etc.
+ Expert in risk assessment, including fate and transport modeling.
+ Assist clients with complying with local, regional, state, and federal regulations for the BUSTR program.
• *Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelors in any science or engineering fields
+ Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, include work related to BUSTR environmental site investigation and remediation
+ Extensive experience with BUSTR fate and transport modeling and site specific target level generation
+ Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements
+ Efficient in Excel, Word, PDF, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc
+ Must possess outstanding problem solving and report writing/editing skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
+ Must be able to pass initial drug screen and five-year motor vehicle background check.
• *Technical requirements:
+ Experience and understanding of BUSTR Rule sets
+ Experience with Fate - Transport Modeling is considered a plus.
+ 40-hr HAZWOPER training
