Environmental Remediation Technician

Miller Environmental Group is seeking a Field Technician for their Environmental Remediation team in Paulsboro, NJ. The role involves safely handling and disposing of hazardous materials, operating equipment, and creating containment areas. Candidates must be at least 18 years old and complete safety and Hazmat training. Construction experience is beneficial but not required. This is a full-time position.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Field Technician and play a critical role in ensuring the safe handling and disposal of regulated materials. As a member of our environmental remediation team, you will work closely with our experienced professionals to identify and mitigate potential risks associated with hazardous materials.
Responsibilities
• Operate machines and equipment to remove, package, store, or transport loads of waste materials.
• Load or unload materials into containers or onto trucks using hoists or forklifts.
• Create containment areas prior to beginning abatement or decontamination work.
Qualifications
• At least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of safety, mechanical, Hazmat, equipment, and/or equivalent training.
• Prior construction experience helpful but not required.
