In this critical role, you will be responsible for tracking all remediation activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project timelines. You will oversee full-time contractors (5), ensuring that their work aligns with safety and quality standards while facilitating successful project delivery. Environmental Remediation Scientist (engineering/geology/environmental sciences) Responsibilities
• Oversee a team of consultants including resource allocation
• Evaluate reports on environmental assessments and project needs
• Manage the installation and setup of remediation systems
• Oversee the operation, compliance, and maintenance of systems
• Procure materials and chemicals for projects
• Estimate costs for environmental liabilities
• Analyze data and prepare proposals, cost estimates, and technical reports
• Develop budget estimates and work scopes for engineering tasks
• Communicate with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders
• Participate in field visits to ensure productivity and quality standards

Environmental Remediation Scientist (engineering/geology/environmental sciences) Qualifications
• Strong background with site assessments required
• Well-versed managing environmental remediation projects required
• Advanced knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA required
