About the position
The Environmental Project Manager at Woodard & Curran will leverage established relationships with clients and regulatory agencies to manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery. This role involves leading investigation and remediation efforts for environmental projects, ensuring effective client management, and coordinating the work of engineers and scientists. The position also includes mentoring junior staff and monitoring project performance, with support from the National Remediation Practice and Project Management Office. Flexible work arrangements are available, with a preference for onsite or hybrid work in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Responsibilities
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery for environmental projects.

• Lead investigation and remediation efforts associated with site cleanup and design projects.

• Interact with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and success.

• Coordinate the work of engineers and scientists on various projects.

• Coach and mentor junior staff to foster professional growth.

• Develop and monitor project performance metrics.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred.

• 10 to 20+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting.

• Strong project management experience, including client service and business development.

• Familiarity with the New Jersey Administrative Code and NJDEP CSRR guidance.

• Preferred LSRP licensure or willingness to obtain within one year.

• Desirable professional licensure (PMP, PP, PE, PG) in New Jersey or other states.

• Solid technical expertise in remediation feasibility evaluations and cost estimating.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience with environmental permitting and field investigations.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Active participation in LSRPA.
