Universal Engineering Sciences is hiring an Environmental Project Manager for their Dallas office to lead Phase II Environmental Site Assessments across various property types. Responsibilities include project management, data analysis, client communication, and ensuring quality standards. UES is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for our Dallas office to lead Phase II Environmental Site Assessments for various property types, including undeveloped land, residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This role involves coordinating drilling, sample/data collection, subcontractor management, data evaluation, and report preparation for clients and regulatory agencies. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is a reliable, independent worker. Daily office attendance is required, and the role demands strong project management skills and attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manages and conducts Phase II Environmental Site Assessment projects in accordance with generally accepted industry practices in the same geographical area
• Creates and updates proposals for various projects across multiple geographies
• Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project
• Prepares cost estimates, proposals, and invoices
• Meets project budgets and schedules
• Ensures that project deliverables meet quality standards and that project outcomes meet the clients expectations
• Effectively solves problems as they arise during the project lifecycle
• Answers client questions and assists them promptly
• Organizes client-provided documents and files for tracking and operations purposes
• Communicates with clients and owner representatives
• Schedules project site visits and other necessary field work
• Handles special client requests regarding specific report format and billing requirements
• Follows safety procedures
• Completes other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• 5 or more years experience in project management, consulting, or similar with an A/E/C firm
• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, Engineering, or a similar major
• Proficient with evaluating sites under the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) Texas Risk Reduction Program (TRRP) and/or the Petroleum Storage Tank (PST) Program.
• Highly organized and able to multi-task
• Self-driven and dynamic in a team environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
• Ability to read and write, including interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Capable of writing routine reports and communicating effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and clients.
• Adaptability to changing project conditions. Strong reasoning skills, with the ability to apply common sense understanding to instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Geoscientist-in-Training (GIT) Certification
• Licensed Professional Geoscientist (PG) or Professional Engineer (P.E.)
• 40-hr OSHA HAZWOPER training and certification
• Local networking with strong client relationships
• Ability to cross-sell between internal service lines
