beBee Careers is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Leader in Boise, ID, to manage complex projects related to contaminated sites and hazardous waste. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced environmental professional to lead complex projects related to contaminated sites, hazardous waste impacts, and natural resources. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

• Lead the planning, management, and conduct of complex environmental projects, including CERCLA site work, Brownfields redevelopment, and RCRA waste management.
• Develop and implement project scopes of work, study designs, and cost estimates, as well as manage project schedules, budgets, and technical teams.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership in synthesizing and analyzing environmental and ecological data to assess contamination risks and evaluate impacts on natural resources.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, stakeholders, and Alta staff through effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance on environmental investigations, monitoring, and remediation efforts.
• Project Development: Develop project proposals, work plans, and budget estimates.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive client relationships through regular communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue business opportunities in targeted markets consistent with Alta's business strategy.

Requirements:
• Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in environmental project management, including 10 years of experience with CERCLA, NRDA, or other related federal, state, or tribal regulations.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to travel periodically for site visits, meetings, and conferences.
