About the Environmental Project Coordinator Role
In this vital role, you will oversee all onsite activities at client locations concerning the storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will manage onsite personnel and serve as a key liaison between our clients and vendors, focusing on service issues and contract management while upholding our high standards for safety and environmental responsibility.

Your Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, you must effectively perform the essential duties listed below. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
• Coordinate logistics for the safe transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, including profiling, scheduling, manifesting, and loading bulk and drum loads.
• Work closely with clients to identify, design, and implement cost-saving initiatives and proposals.
• Ensure compliance with client and government regulations by conducting inspections and reporting; address and resolve all issues promptly.
• Administer financial obligations related to clients and vendors, including invoicing, reporting, and contract management.
• Foster a culture of safety by ensuring that all site personnel receive proper training to perform their duties and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Occasionally perform hands-on, labor-intensive tasks such as drum collection and bulking as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This role includes the direct supervision of approximately 10+ full-time operations staff.

What You Need to Succeed
The qualifications listed below represent the skills necessary to perform this job effectively.
• Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Environmental Sciences, Business, or a related field; or a High School Diploma/GED with four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant work experience is required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Requirements:
• Experience with RCRA and DOT regulatory compliance is mandatory.
• OSHA 24-Hour HAZWOPER Certification is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Pre-assignment and/or pre-hire drug and/or alcohol testing may be required based on customer contract stipulations.
